Pittsburgh

United States Pop-up #4

Got up today and flushed the coolant in my car. I might have a minor head gasket leak so I needed to put some k-seal in the radiator but also took the time to upgrade the coolant. I just got all vehicle green Prestone which I think is what the previous owners used. I also filled up my power steering fluid.

The flush and bleed took about an hour and a half, and then I was on my west waving goodbye to Kk and Nan. The drive was an easy 5 hours due to traffic. I first swung by the strip district in Pittsburgh and then downtown around Market Square. I stopped at Market Square for a little, liking the atmosphere surrounded by tall buildings, but decided to shift to the strip district which seemed to have more shoppers and tourists who would be my customers.

I’ve found that most interest from young guys like me, second most interest from older artistic women, and everyone else has about the same interest level in what I’m doing. When I was taking my routine photos, a cinematographer came up to me and asked me what I was doing and said he would’ve bought something if he hadn’t spent his money on Battlefield 6. He had gone to the art institute when it existed. He was exited to hear that I was going to FIT, and I was excited to immediately meet another artist in Pittsburgh. Later, a kid who had gone to Kent State in Ohio for fashion design stopped by and liked what I was doing. Then a woman and a kid came up and expressed serious interest in a jacket but didn’t pull the trigger. There was one other couple that stopped and took a look before I headed out towards Kansas City. I drove 2 hours to Zanesville where I’m stopped for the night.

See you,

RK
