St. Louis

United States Pop-up #6

ree

I slept in pretty late again today. I keep staying up too late, oh well. St. Louis is cool. It’s larger than my most recent pop-up locations, and reminds me of Texas. I got a milkshake from Ben and Jerry’s and then set up outside a burned down tavern in The Delmar Loop.

Another homeless man came up to me right as I was setting up and asked if I had anything on sale for 4 dollars. I offered him 2 different T-shirts, which I would normally sell for $20 or $30, but he didn’t like them. The day went on and cut out pieces of a pretty blue Japanese eyelet cotton for a jacket.

Not many people looked at my clothes but the town was nice and I got some work done so I’m not disappointed. I closed up shop and got some chicken gizzards and spare ribs before heading to Williamsburg for the night.

A satisfying bypass of traffic.

I went up into a conservation and parked next to a pond. There were some creepy noises right when I got there but when I finished setting up the only noises were the crickets and owls. The night is cool and cozy. I’m gonna watch an episode of Cowboy Bebop and go to bed. Tomorrow I go to Kansas City. I’m excited to see family there and celebrate my Cousin Michaels 35th birthday.

See you,

RK
